The Living Roof
A garden can be smallest of spaces and the living roof is another example of this. This was created on the top of my office in fact as I wanted to trial out a range of plants that would succeed in a substrate of just 50mm without watering thoughout the growing seasons.
It has proved to be very successful and provides interest and colour for months beginning in the spring. Not only that it is a welcome pit stop for birds and insects.
I know what will work for a living roof with minimum of attention but a little bit different from the usual one sort sedum.
