Our Gardening Services
It is so exciting to create a new garden so our main service here at the The Garden Goddess Garden Design Ltd is our Full Design Package but we do so much more too. Our aim is to create beautiful gardens for you with low environmental impact, creating bio diversity whilst giving you a space you will love.
The Full Design Package
1. Consultation With every enquiry an initial consultation is arranged with me so we can chat in person and I can assess what you and your garden space requires and advise you on the best way forward. We are very busy but that usually can be arranged within two weeks.
2. Design Process With this I will carry out a very detailed site survey of your property, taking into account levels, aspect, soil conditions, drainage and pipework, electrics and any other factors that may come into play, for instance neighbouring trees. For larger properties it may be necessary to instruct an independent company to produce a Topological Survey of the site. From this data I will draw up a scale plan of your garden and for our first meeting I will present you with an initial draft plan with mood board and planting idea together with hard landscaping materials. We discuss everything in the design and only once you are happy with it, will I draw up the final design plans. These will be presented to you at the final meeting. You will have both hard copy and digital copy of your plans. I work with a
3. Planting Plan Planting plans are drawn up for your borders, whether it is a revamp or a complete new planting scheme. These will detail layout, images, quantities and sizes. You will receive a care maintenance package to help you or your gardener keep your new scheme beautiful.
Once you have your garden design the other services we offer include:
4.1 Tendering Process If you require a variety of quotes then this can be overseen for you it will be quoted for separately.
4.2 Implementation Of The Design I can oversee the soft landscaping side of the build from the sourcing, delivery and creation making sure everything runs smoothly. This will be quoted for separately.
4.3 Construction Managing I can have as little or as much input as you require with the build of your garden. Once the landscaper has been chosen and the start date confirmed I can oversee the whole build, dealing with any queries that come up and making sure it runs smoothly. This will be charged on an hourly basis.
